Multi-objective optimization of multi-energy systems planning in remote zones: the Bahía Málaga Colombian case

Non-Interconnected Zones (NIZ) are a challenge for countries in terms of providing energy service coverage that is both economically and environmentally sustainable. Although some microgrid planning strategies allow scaled-down solutions these areas, solely electrical approach does not facilitate the integration range vectors. Considering above, this study presents multi-objective to optimally scale multi-energy systems (MES) NIZ Colombia minimize costs pollutant emissions. The methodology based on MOPSO algorithm, which provides set optimized can be selected according multiple criteria. capabilities tested through comparative Bahía Málaga area Colombia’s Pacific coast. results present with lower environmental impact, benefits applied other worldwide.
